Mill City String Quartet (MCSQ), established in 2007, is an internationally award-winning ensemble based in the Twin Cities. Recent honors include First Prize at the 2024 Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition and additional top prizes at the Charleston and Clara Schumann International Competitions in 2025. Renowned for their dynamic programming, MCSQ champions both classical masterworks and music by underrepresented composers. Their recent highlights include national anthem performances for the Minnesota Twins and concert engagements across the U.S.
